Immunity Green Smoothie


If you ever need an immunity boost this breakfast go to smoothie is for you. The greens help to boost your alkaline PH levels - this reduces the ability for disease to flourish in the body. The lemon and ginger boost your immunity and help to cleanse the body and the added sweetness of banana and apple make this a tasty breakfast meal in a cup.

Ingredients

2 Handfuls (approximately 2 cups) Kale

2 Handfuls (approximately 2 cups) Baby Spinach

1 cups apple

½ Cucumber

½ Lemon, squeezed (for extra benefits, use the juice from an entire lemon)

1 Banana

Ice

1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Drink right away as the foam will rise to the top which means that you have lots of good fiber to drink.

  2. *Using a frozen banana will allow you to use less ice.
